PoetPearl treats irregularity as part of the composition rather than as a defect to be corrected. Baroque form is the starting point of every design.
The position
A pearl does not need to be round to be valuable. Roundness is a market convention that creates a price premium; it is not a measure of quality or of beauty. PoetPearl builds in the other direction, selecting pearls for individual form and pairing them with design elements that complement their scale, movement, and luster.
This is a design position rather than a claim about gemological grading. Buyers who want matched round strands should look for those. Buyers who want the pearl to keep its own outline will find that here.
